Altura is the recognized Economic Development District in East-Central Idaho Region VI. As a company, we assist communities in meeting their economic development and infrastructure needs. We are a full service planning and economic development organization. We assist communities with all phases of project development and implementation.

Our organization maintains excellent working relationships with the Idaho Department of Commerce (IDOC), the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ), USDA-Rural Development (RD), Army Corps of Engineers (ACoE), and the Economic Development Administration (EDA). These relationships have been key to maximizing project funding. As an organization, we have expertise in bringing together multiple funding sources to complete beneficial projects for the economic growth of Eastern Idaho. We work diligently with municipalities, federal funding sources, local urban renewals, and private sector businesses to develop projects that will leave a lasting positive impact on the community.

“One of the best decisions we made during our wastewater treatment plant replacement project was to use Altura to help obtain funding and manage our project.  With Altura we found a skilled team that guided us through every step of the project.  They provided expert support and made sure that the project was finished in a way that all could be proud of.  They did not rest until it was done right.  We could not have done it without them!”
